How to make a scary transaction easy, June 13, 2004
Knowing approximately nothing about diamonds and rings, I searched to buy one.
After looking into the local stores and their hefty markups, I started looking online
for someone who would provide what my fiance wanted: a relatively small ring,
top quality (D color, IF clarity, very skilled cutting), good value,
and very good service. And GemNation delivered as they promised.
I found several comparable diamonds from other vendors, but they all wanted 15-20% more
for the same size and quality. We wanted a
platinum ring,
and the ones in stock fit
the bill. I placed the order, asked them to wait until they verified the size, and
they were very professional in how they handled my request. The service was first
class. They communicated well. They answered all my questions quickly and professionally.
The ring showed exactly when they said it would, in packaging that would not be obvious
as to the contents. And they even gave me a jeweler's magnifying glass so I could see
what was written on the attached GIA certificate. A first class operation. I have one
request of them, though. I would appreciate if they'd include more obvious links to
sizing information and the page where you request that they send a sizer to your home.
But once I found the page, that sizer showed up fast. Thank you for such a easy and
satisfying purchase. I'll recommend people to GemNation.
