Since 1888, Carl F. Bucherer has been making fine quality watches and jewelry. A reputation for quality, style, individuality and magnificence have been the hallmarks of this illustrious brand from the opening of Bucherer's first store on the Falkenplatz in Lucerne to the present day. In the early years of the twentieth century, the imperial court in Berlin, in acknowledgment of Bucherer's growing reputation for superior quality and craftmanship, assigned it the title of 'Official Watchmaker'.
