With its unrivalled Da Vinci calendar/chronograph movement, IWC heralded the arrival of a new age in mechanics. In fact, it was so revolutionary that it marked a turning point in the entire history of watchmaking. But now comes a model that signals yet another new departure: the Da Vinci Chronograph with its new IWC-manufactured 89360-calibre movement in a fabulously designed tonneau-shaped case measuring 43.1 x 51 millimetres with a back cover made of sapphire glass. As in the past, it measures the seconds in any one minute with the central seconds hand, but displays longer periods of time in rapidly legible form, with two analogue hands, on a single subdial. The hours and minutes of the period being timed can be read off immediately and unmistakably from a miniature watch in the dial. They no longer need to be read separately and then counted together. This innovation, which is based on an extremely sophisticated movement design, will substantially increase the chronograph's practical benefits and ensure that this useful complication no longer plays the merely decorative role to which it is sometimes reduced. |

- Packaging and Documentation: This watch is GUARANTEED 100% authentic, has ORIGINAL SERIAL NUMBERS and is shipped in FACTORY-FRESH, BRAND NEW, UNWORN condition with ALL manufacturer documentation and packaging. Package contains watch manufacturer's certificate of authenticity (if such certificate is applicable, and provided by the manufacturer), tags, stickers, boxes, and user manuals .
