Since 1833, when the inventive Charles Antoine LeCoultre established this venerable watchmaker, it has produced some of the most outstanding and innovative timepieces. It wasn't until 1931, however, that the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand rose to international fame. It was then that the Reverso - an ingenious reversible watch - was unveiled to the public.

Trapèze Hands. 18k gold seal adorns the case-back; directly inspired by the 1958 Geophysic chronometer - it depicts a globe complete with longitude and latitude markings. The alarm strikes on a hanging gong - a magnificent sound from a gong made from a unique alloy. Patented collar-locking crowns, operated with quick half-turns to help prevent water damage (red arrows show open status, white arrow shows closure). |
