Since 1833, when the inventive Charles Antoine LeCoultre established this venerable watchmaker, it has produced some of the most outstanding and innovative timepieces. It wasn't until 1931, however, that the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand rose to international fame. It was then that the Reverso - an ingenious reversible watch - was unveiled to the public.

The seduction is immediate and the indications do not leave room to the least hesitation: the hour and the minutes, luminescent in the night, are read on the principal dial. The date, related to the principal spindle, appears in a rectangular counter with the colors reversed, white figures on black bottom located at 3 AM. In perfect symmetry, at 9 AM, the indication am/pm of the envelope of grading hometime is characterized by a new Jaeger-LeCoultre design, sober and purified. It occupies a dial whose bottom is also dark. At 6 AM, a subsidiary dial, of square form, posts the small seconds. |
