Using the chronograph pusher between 4 and 5 resets the chronograph without first having to stop the mechanism. This is known as a flyback mechanism. This was originally developed for pilots in order to prevent time loss (and therefore accuracy) caused by stopping, resetting and starting the chronograph whilst traversing a navigational point.
The user can start or stop the chronograph function via the pusher located between 1 and 2. The Flyback Function can be continuously reset at will by depressing the second pusher located between 4 and 5 o’clock. |

At last! The Richard Mille RM011 anticipated since Basel 2006, is now available in 2008. This is the single hottest RM in the world and available in very limited quantities!
The watch case was under research and development for a year. Sixty-eight different stamping operations are required for the three main components (bezel, middle section and case back). The machine tooling process requires 8 days of adjustment for the bezel, 5 days for the middle section and 5 days for the case back. Each rough case involves 202 separate machining operations. The design and execution of the watch demonstrates a complete conceptual approach to the movement, case and dial. As a result, everything has been constructed according to an extremely rigorous specification, in the manner of the analytical engineering methods used in the design of Formula 1 racing cars where the chassis and the engine are developed in complete harmony. For example, a casing ring is no longer used and the movement is mounted on chassis mounting rubbers (ISO SW) fixed by 4 titanium screws. Features such as these are evidence of uncompromising workmanship. The tripartite case is water resistant to 50 meters, ensured by three Nitril O-ring seals. The case is assembled with 16 spline screws in grade 5 titanium and abrasion resistant washers in copper-nickel-zinc alloy. |

If you know the size of the wearer's wrist, please let us know in the 'Special Request' section at the time of checkout and we will size the watch appropriately. Removed links WILL BE SENT WITH THE WATCH. Sizing is not an exact science; bracelet links vary in size and removing too many links or too few links may make the fit too small or too big. We therefore cannot guarantee the length of the bracelet or that it will be equivalent to the specified length. As a result, many of our customers take their watches to a QUALIFIED watchmaker to do the sizing with their watch in hand; expect to pay in the region of $5 - $25 for this service.
Watch bracelets that Gemnation resizes are still returnable. Unfortunately if an outside party is utilized to resize the strap, we can no longer accept the watch for return or exchange. Unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from resizing the watch bracelet. If this is the case, we will notify you before shipping the watch. Sizing requests are usually completed within 24-48 hours. If overnight shipping is selected in addition to bracelet sizing, please allow for additional time, or contact us beforehand to provide us with sufficient time to accommodate your request.
